Community Directory Administrator
Groundwork London
Would you like to gain admin experience in a friendly team, where volunteers play a major role? This volunteer opportunity will help you enhance your admin skills, gain confidence in a friendly office environment, and develop experience in the voluntary sector.
As a volunteer, you will provide administration support to organisations in Barnet to help them to access and make the most of the Barnet Community Directory. The directory is a vital tool for local organisations and the public to connect with what is on offer in Barnet. 
The commitment is one day per week, with some flexibility.

Upcycler/Workshop Assistant - Barnet Reuse Centre Ltd
Are you a handy person with experience in painting and DIY? Barnet Reuse centre is looking for volunteers in all areas of DIY. Sometimes, minor repairs and carpentry will be done. Experience in band saw, lathes and sanders is desirable. Volunteers are expected to be creative with problem solving skills and be willing to use own initiative whilst being a good team player.
Further training will be provided where possible and travel expenses covered if needed. DBS check required.

Youth Workshop Delivery Volunteer - Harts Theatre Company 
Interested in Arts and Creativity whilst having fun working with young people? Come help support leaders with workshop delivery to young participants from NCS-The Challenge with the aim to create content for the “I Am Normal Arts and Wellbeing Festival”. There are several groups of young people with specialist interests (Art, Photography, Drama etc.). You are free to apply to volunteer with more than one team, but we do ask that you are able to attend both dates per team. You may also volunteer for just one team.
Volunteers will gain experience in mentoring and workshop delivery with young people as well as get free entry into the I Am Normal Festival at the Arts Depot, North Finchley on 23rd September.

Festival Steward - Harts Theatre Company 
The Harts Theatre company is also looking for Volunteers to help provide general management and co-ordination support on the day of the I AM Normal Arts and Wellbeing Charity festival on September 23rd.

North London Rape Crisis Helpline Volunteer - Solace Womens Aid 
Are you passionate about working in a feminist organisation which understands sexual violence to be a cause and consequence of gender inequality? Why not volunteer with Solace Women’s Aid. Volunteers will be required to commit to 12 months post-training and to attend a 10 week training course on Fridays from 15th September to 17th October. You must be an empathetic listener and possess non-judgemental and non-discriminatory attitude. Please note that this volunteer opportunities are open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1), and are exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974 and subject to enhanced DBS checks.
The role provides opportunity to work towards an OCN level 2 or 3 accredited qualification for professionals working in the Sexual Violence Sector.
