Introduction to Judaism talk (Free)

As part of Interfaith Week at Middlesex University, Kelvin Zane from Jami UK will be leading an introductory session on Judaism. Anybody who works, volunteers or who is interested in learning more about Judaism and Jewish culture is welcome to attend this free workshop. The session will provide a historical overview of the Jewish community, discuss the community today and cover artefacts and festivals related to the culture. A Q&A will also be included.
Introduction to Volunteering Training
This Introduction to Volunteering workshop gives volunteers a chance to understand what to expect, benefits of volunteering and to share your excitements and concerns. It is accessible for people of all needs and abilities – everyone is welcome.
We will cover topics such as:

• How might I benefit from volunteering?
• Volunteering as a way to achieve your goals
• What to expect when you volunteer
Who is the course suitable for?
Anyone who is interested in volunteering – maybe you haven’t volunteered before and would like to know what to expect, or maybe you aren’t sure how it might affect your benefits. No matter what your situation, if you’re interested in volunteering then this workshop is for you!
